AC Milan coach Pioli: The criticism has been ferocious

AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli is calm about his situation.

Pioli's job remains in doubt after their 5-1 win against Cagliari.

Asked if he's felt isolated in recent weeks, Pioli said: "No. I have a very good relationship with my managers.

"I had it with Paolo (Maldini) and with Ricky (Massara) who are the ones who brought me to Milan, just as I had it this year with all the others. I have a very good relationship, we are a great club and there are great expectations.

"There have been criticisms, even ferocious ones, but it is part of this job the best football possible. Sometimes we succeeded, but I certainly did some other things wrong."
